Van de Beek undergoes Eintracht medical

According to Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek is currently in Frankfurt, undergoing a medical which should precede his move to Eintracht in January. The agreement includes a loan for the second half of the season, at the end of which the Bundesliga side will have the option not obligation to make the transfer permanent for a fixed fee of €11 million, and another €4m to potentially come in the form of add-ons.

Van de Beek has only made two appearances for United in all competitions this term, amounting to a total of 21 minutes spent on the pitch in both games combined. Manager Erik ten Hag obviously has no place for the 26-year-old Dutchman in his ranks, and a move away from Old Trafford was on the cards for a long time now.

Even before Ten Hag came to take charge of the team, the 26-year-old midfielder found it hard to establish himself as its regular member. The 2020/21 season, his first at the club and his only season without Ten Hag in the dugout, saw him make just four Premier League starts.

Understand Donny van de Beek is already in Frankfurt, completing medical tests as new Eintracht player right now.

◉ Loan deal from Man United.
◉ Buy option clause not mandatory.
◉ It’d cost €11m fixed plus €4m add-ons.

Here we go and exclusive story, confirmed.
